Asher Ang


Asher is a securities attorney who primarily focuses his practice on the structuring and offering of securities in various types of private equity funds, hedge funds, and syndications. His day-to-day practice includes providing counsel on the primary and secondary offering of securities, compliance-related issues, contract negotiation, and inquiries or investigations from state administrators, federal regulators, and self-regulatory organizations like FINRA. Asher is deeply interested in banking, finance, and capital markets, and he has to date formed and structured over a hundred distinct offerings. Asher navigates clients through the labyrinth of complex federal and state statutory and regulatory schemes to ensure seamless and compliant offerings. 

Additionally, Asher is also part of Kelley Clarke’s real estate practice group, and he assists clients in the acquisition and sale of real property, whether the property be commercial, residential, raw land, or mineral rights. Asher assists clients in contract negotiation, due diligence, putting out fires, and sticking the landing on closing.

Asher brings to the table diversity of experience and knowledge –  is licensed in 7 states, is a published author, and a registered investment adviser representative. He has travelled to 30 countries in 5 continents, and speaks 3 languages (English, Mandarin Chinese, and Malay). Asher has earned American Jurisprudence awards in Statutory Interpretation and International Business Transactions, and he is one of the youngest graduates from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

In addition to being passionate about his work, Asher is a certified scuba diver, an avid reader, chess player, and songwriter.
