Asher Ang

Asher is Chair of the Firm’s Securities Department, advising sponsors, issuers, and investors on the structuring and execution of a broad range of offerings and financial instruments. As securities counsel to various private equity firms, investment funds, family offices, syndications, startups, and digital asset/crypto projects, he has led the formation of hundreds of offerings and investment vehicles with aggregate proceeds cumulatively in the billions of dollars. He brings a cross-border perspective to transactions and structuring, including offshore vehicles and international investment structures, shaped by years of living and doing business in Asia and Europe. Accordingly, his international experience brings a culturally informed approach not only to cross-border matters, but also to the relationships and people involved.

Licensed in seven states, Asher is a published author and multilingual (Mandarin, Malay, Serbian, and now learning Hungarian). He has travelled to 58 countries across five continents and counting. He earned American Jurisprudence awards in Statutory Interpretation and International Business Transactions and graduated among the youngest in his class at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Outside the office, Asher is an amateur triathlete and serves as Managing Principal of Hyper-Alpha Capital, a crypto hedge fund.
